Medical Records
Responsibilities:
Prepare admission records in conjunction with unit secretary.
Performs assembly and analysis of discharged medical records.
Responsible for thinning of active records on a regular basis.
Maintains thinned medical record information in an organized and secure manner.
Prepares records for offsite storage and maintains inventory log of stored records.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Must possess outstanding organizational skills.
Typing, filing and computer experience is necessary.
